Hi! We'll be staying on Brac in June for 3 nights, most likely in Pucisca (or possibly in Postira). Not in Bol, however. Are there any boat rides for groups or affordable water taxis to find hidden beaches? We've been to Korcula and found a rrally nice water taxi day trip that took us swimming on three different islands. I haven't found anything similar on Bol online. We wouldn't mind driving to Bol for this.
We've also considered visiting Hvar for 2 nights first and then 3 on Brac, but as we have a car, the ferries seem like a hassle as we would need to first take the ferry back from Hvar to Split and then back to Brac, or drive through Makarska. The ferry to Korcula was super easy but apparently the Split ferries are more chaotic...? 🤔 We have 5 nights in total in Croatia this time and currently the plan is to have 3 nights on Brac, 2 nights in Tucepi (visited before and enjoyed it), then drive to Slovenia without needing to take the ferry on that longer travel day. The alternative would be 2 nights on Hvar and 3 on Brac but then we'd need to take the ferry and THEN drive to Slovenia, which sounds like a long day. We're a couple in our thirties, third time in Croatia, familiar with driving there but not with the ferries departing from Split.
Thoughts?
Hey, the ferries in Split are not chaotic just more traffic so it seems that way but as per usual you buy the ticket in advance and show up at appropriate time and wait in line to board a ferry. Driving down to Makarska just makes the ferry ride much shorter, I like this more as then you can also enjoy the scenery of the Makarska riviera road, which is amazing.
Brac Day Trip Guide (With a car or without)
The car ferry in Hvar actually stops in Stari Grad and from there you drive to Hvar or which ever city you are staying in on island Hvar.

Regarding Slovenia, since you must drive all the way up north I would advise arriving day earlier and then continuing just so it doesnt happen that due to weather a ferry is canceled or similar. Either way it will be a long drive.
