My personal favorite are sandy beaches on Lopud near Dubrovnik, sandy beaches in Lumbarda on island Korcula and sandy beaches on island Pag and Rab.

@heno Hey not yet but will have in April-May, there are two beaches which are close to the old town, if you want a sandy beach you can visit Nin not far away from Zadar but you would need a car.
Are beaches in Split or Hvar better? We are going in AprilÂ
