Hey, to most locals the best places to visit in Croatia are Istria, Dalmatia (mainly islands like Hvar, Brac, Korcula) + Dubrovnik and its surrounding region. It really depends on your type of travel what will be best to visit for you as some locations are more family oriented while others for younger generation (parties, crowds). Islands also differ from each other in the amount of things to do but he main thing is if you are coming to relax you will find great locations in which ever region you decide to go to.
