Looking for some calrity on whether the 'season' is open in May or if there is even a scene for bars and nightlife. Booked a trip in June but may have to move to May and after trying to check if things are open/busy/lively/atmosphere. I see mixed information on noise curfews and so keen to find out whether there is anywhere open for that vibe?

Hey, to get the more lively vibe and people going out you would have to go more towards June, July, August, in Split and Dubrovnik clubs work but its 30-40% of capacity that happens in peak summer months, if nightlife something you are after going in the peak months would be better, in May its great for exploring, sunbathing, swimming if you are brave, but most of the things will start to open up. So 1-2 week of May most of restaurants, bars etc open and noise curfew is still active, for better club experience aim for Split or Dubrovnik. Best Cities for Nightlife in Croatia
