Hello everyone, my wife and I are traveling to Croatia from the US. I wanted to give a rough outline of my itinerary so far to see if it may need some tweaking, any input would be appreciated.
Day 1: Flight into Dubrovnik midday
Day 2: Dubrovnik
Day 3: Hvar
Day 4: Hvar
Day 5: Split
Day 6: Split
Day 7: Plitvice Lakes National Park; stay in Zadar after
Day 8: Zadar in morning; to Cavtat in PM to make flight next day
Day 9: Flight home in the morning
This is a very rough itinerary and I will fill in the details later, but just wanted some feedback on the rough outline.

Hey, you are going during summer time or ? as this affects some travel decisions.
But if going during summer this is the itinerary sounds good, you will see alot but still have time to relax. You can easily travel with a ferry from Dubrovnik - Hvar - Split and then bus or rent a car to Plitvice and Zadar + driving to Cavtat for the flight.
Only thing you could change is adding extra day to an island instead of Split but you can still do island hopping from Split if you will feel that you need more to explore.
