Hi! I'm planning a climbing trip with a friend in may near split. We are on a tight budget and having a car while paying hostels every night is expensive. Are there good options to van life our way around this financial burden?

Hey, camping outside of camp park is not legal so I wouldn't go with that route, I have seen camper vans in parking's of shopping malls etc. but I know they usually remove them. You can get really cheap parcels for camping if you book in advance or not at prime spots.
