I heard lots of people say Dubrovnik is expensive, is it really that much more expensive?

Overall yes, the biggest difference is in accommodation while food and stores are similar priced to other locations on the coastline, so if you get a good deal on accommodation it wont be much more expensive than other parts of Croatia
