Hey guys! Im a 22f from the US and am looking to travel to dubronvik hvar and split in a span of 2 weeks. Im definitely not a hostel girly and dont think i ever will be lol. Unless anyone knows or hostels that have a shared room but a private bathroom in Croatia. Now to get to my point i really want to make friends with Croatians and get the real authentic feeling for it. Really just looking for advice on it and if anyone can recommend me authentic places in these areas to stay in that is still close everything you wanna see! And any recommendations on bars & restaurants where the vibe is friendly you can say. Im not the mist outgoing person but im definitely not shy either! Thanks guys!
Hey, 2 weeks for the mentioned locations will make the holiday really relaxing.
In Dubrovnik I would recommend staying somewhere in Babin Kuk or Lapad both have cheaper accommodation but are still easy to reach the old town. Read below for more info:

in Split closer to the old town you stay is better, but the city has good bus transport so if you even stay outside the city you will be fine, I would suggest staying longer on the island compared to Split as Split is usually great as a hub for doing day trips to near by cities or islands:

Depending on how you will travel from Dubrovnik to Split by bus or ferry you can also make a stop on Korcula or Brac, both I would recommend, also the most expensive accommodation you can expect on Hvar and since you are going solo I would stay close to Hvar old town as taxi on the island is very expensive if you stay for example in Stari Grad or Jelsa:
