I’m planning to do Zagreb, Dubrovnik and Split in Feb as I have 10 day trip planned in February. Also would like to sneak out to Lake bled for a day or two.

Please help with recommendations to visit with must go cafes, local dishes to eat, must do activities.

Hey, is your plan to travel with a car or ? if not it will be alot of bus travel and waiting for bus. You are flying into Zagreb and out of Dubrovnik or, this makes a large difference.

This would be my suggestion if you are flying into Zagreb and out of Dubrovnik also being Feb there are chances of Snow in higher regions in Slovenia + Croatia through which you will both be passing through.

Heres my suggestion:

Day 1: When you land in Zagreb get your rental car and spend 1 night in Zagreb so you have time to sightsee

Day 2: in the afternoon or evening head out towards Ljubljana where you can sleep for 1 night, if you wake up early you can explore Ljubljana and in the afternoon go to Lake Bled, this is what we did, easy to sightsee both but you will feel tired afterwards so end the night in Ljubljana

Day 3: Next morning start your drive towards Plitvice Lakes (depending on weather if its high snow you wont be able to enter so check weather night before) you can also add Rastoke as they are on the same road and a great short stop. Free to sightsee, grab a warm drink in the cafe and continue your travel.

After finishing with Plitvice and Rastoke in the afternoon you have 3 hour drive to get to Split

Day 3-4-5: stay in Split for 2-3 nights so you can explore nearby cities and go to Krka national Park, Split you can sightsee in a day but there is plenty to do and see close by. Weather in Feb can be nice or very windy and rainy so really isnt the best time to go.

After this you have 5 days left, you can either explore Makarska, go island hopping from Split or visit Peljesac for wineries and Ston, be prepared that not 100% of things will be working on the islands, you will still find bakeries, shops, restaurants, bars but not in the same amount compared to summer time, also you travel to an island can be affected by weather (wind called Bura).

Check the road trip guide from Split and add what ever you want there is alot to sightsee on your way from Split to Dubrovnik.
