Hi everyone! I’m helping my brother plan for his honeymoon and I’m at a pickle with the end of our trip. They are going to fly into Dubrovnik for a few days then rent a car to go to Split.

They want to go to Kotor after but I’m having an issue finding the best way for them to get there. I’m thinking a ferry from Dubrovnik (so they could drop off their car). With that said, we want to get them back to Dubrovnik for their flight home. We want a round trip flight with home in ATL.

Any thoughts and tips for that final leg of the trip are appreciated!

P.S. I know Kotor isn’t in Croatia, so I hope this isn’t a problem here!

Hey, Kotor is in opposite direction from Split so they can either do it at the start of their trip as soon as they arrive or on the last day from Dubrovnik but I would strongly suggest doing it beforehand just so that they dont miss their flight. Having a car would be beneficial when going towards Split and when going back to Dubrovnik and to Kotor.

You could instead of Kotor add Mostar or any other location which is on the way from Dubrovnik to Split like Korcula, Makarska, Hvar, Brac, Omis etc. instead of Kotor and you would have a much more relaxed holiday, crossing the border into Montenegro can be a long process, going from 1 hour to -5-6+ hours
