You can very easily reach Arboretum Trsteno from Dubrovnik. Here are a few options for you to choose from:

If you have a car, that’s the most convenient way to reach Trsteno Arboretum from Dubrovnik. The distance is approximately 20 kilometers, and it will take you around 20 to 30 minutes depending on traffic. There’s parking close to the entrance to the arboretum, although its limited so it might be tough to find a spot during summer season.

If you don’t have a car, your best option is to grab an Uber or a Bolt directly to Arboretum Trsteno. Uber is around 20 euros one way and you’ll get there much quicker than by bus. You’ll also be much more flexible as you can just call a taxi whenever you want to leave.

If you’re on a really tight budget, you can go by bus but it will be a bit more complicated. There aren’t any buses operating just on Dubrovnik – Trsteno route, which means you’ll have to catch a bus from Dubrovnik’s main bus station (Autobusni Kolodvor) heading towards Split or Šibenik, and then inform the driver that you want to get off at Arboretum Trsteno. Overall, just out of comfort and ease, I would recommend skipping the bus and using an Uber.
