If you’re planning on visiting Croatia, Dubrovnik is surely going to be one of your favorite stops. Dubrovnik is adored by many other people, so it can be pretty tricky to find a nice hotel within your budget during high season. If your budget is on the lower side, it can be especially challenging as Dubrovnik turns out to be quite pricey.
That’s exactly why I decided to compile a list of the best hotels, hostels & Airbnbs in Dubrovnik for every pocket! Whether you have enough money for the most luxurious hotel, or you’re backpacking and need something very affordable, this list is going to be your best friend!

CRITERIA FOR CHOOSING HOTELS:
As I wanted to show you realistic prices for the summer season, while searching on Booking.com I checked the prices for a 1-night stay on the weekend in July. Therefore, the prices could only be more affordable if you choose a different season to visit.
There are three categories: luxury – the ones over 350 Euros per night, average pricing – the ones with 200 – 350 Euros, and the affordable pricing – 150 and under Euros per night.

BEST DUBROVNIK HOTELS: LUXURY
Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik – 5 stars
Situated on a cliff, this 5-star hotel requires a one-minute walk to the beach and it’s only one kilometer away from the Old Town. Frankly, it’s one of the most luxurious hotels you can get in Dubrovnik. The hotel has incredibly delicious restaurants and a wine bar with some of the most amazing wines and champagne. The Bellevue staff is sure willing to spoil you since you can even get a limo to take you from the airport to the hotel! If you want true luxury, you want Bellevue!
PRICING: from 800 euros per night
Hotel Excelsior – 5 stars
Another incredible 5-star hotel in Dubrovnik is Excelsior. Right on the beach, most of the hotel’s rooms have incredible views of the sea. The rooms are cozy and modern, and if you don’t want to spend your time at the beach or in your room, the hotel offers a spa and an indoor pool. Hotel Excelsior is also only 5 minutes away from the Old Town, which makes it a perfect choice for everyone. Excelsior has many restaurants and all of them have a perfect view of the Dubrovnik Sea, so dining in the hotel is an additional plus!
PRICING: from 950 euros per night
Rixos Premium Dubrovnik – 5 stars
Only fifteen minutes from the Old Town and five minutes from the beach, Rixos Premium is, in my opinion, one of the prettiest hotels in Dubrovnik. The rooms look luxurious and modern, and if you choose a room with a view of the sea, you will be left speechless. The hotel has an incredible pool and even a tennis court – anything to make the guest happy, so I’m absolutely sure you would be obsessed with your stay here.
PRICING: from 450 euros per night
Valamar Argosy Hotel – 4 stars
This big, modern, and luxurious hotel definitely belongs in this luxury category. An incredible, spacious room with a wonderful ensuite is what you’ll get here! The hotel is around 6 kilometers from the Old Town, so if you want the luxury of the before mentioned hotels but at a lesser price, choose this more remote hotel. The hotel also offers many other great amenities like indoor and outdoor pools, a spa, and a restaurant. On top of all that, the beach is only 3 minutes away from the hotel.
PRICING: from 300 euros per night
Hotel More – 5 stars
With only one minute of walking to the beach, you will easily enjoy every moment of your vacation in Hotel More. It’s not the closest to the Old Town with around 3.5 kilometers separating them, but most rooms have a wonderful view of the sea, which is incredible. The hotel has a pool, a spa, and two restaurants, so dining and relaxing are completely covered. The rooms are not as modern as you would probably like but if you get a suite looking out at sea you are going to be absolutely charmed off your feet!

Prijeko Palace – 4 stars
This incredible place is IN the Old Town! People say it’s unreal how good the value for money is in this hotel because it’s only 50 meters from the main Dubrovnik street called Stradun, in the heart of Dubrovnik! The rooms are very charming and unique, unlike all the modern and often sterile hotels today. If you’re looking for something that will stand out – choose this one. The beach is only 600 meters away from the hotel.

BEST DUBROVNIK HOTELS: AVERAGE-PRICED
Clouds Boutique Guesthouse – 3 stars
In the center of the old town, find your way to Clouds Boutique Guesthouse. Only 500 meters from Stradun, this accommodation offers lovely, modern, and clean rooms with a bed, a bathroom, and a seating area. The Guesthouse is only 100 meters away from the old Dubrovnik port from which you can take a day trip to Lokrum or Cavtat. You can even rent a car if you want to indulge in some day trips away from Dubrovnik!
PRICING: from 260 euros per night
Villa Dorma – 4 stars
If you want another average-priced option near the Old Town, Villa Dorma is only 200 meters away from the Dubrovnik city walls. Not only that, but the Villa is four minutes away from the beach and is right next to a bus stop taking you to the airport. The rooms have everything you could possibly need, and the staff is even willing to plan out day trips for you!
PRICING: from 330 euros per night
Apartments and Rooms Villa Naida – 4 stars
Very modern and new, these lovely rooms are close to the Dubrovnik port and main bus station, which is very convenient if you’re coming by bus. The accommodation has a wonderful, shared terrace with views of the sea, which seriously impressed many of the Booking.com reviewers. Not as close to Old Town as some others on this list but still good value for money!
PRICING: from 150 euros per night
Bova Luxury Rooms – 4 stars
These incredibly beautiful and modern rooms are situated in Lapad and they’re exactly what you need if you want a vacation full of comfort! The rooms are 2 kilometers away from the Old Town, but they have restaurants only 5 minutes away, so you won’t be missing out. When you decide to visit the old town, it will take you 5 minutes by bus to get there. According to reviews, the host is incredible, and the rooms are only a few minutes away from the beach!

BEST DUBROVNIK HOTELS: AFFORDABLE
Hostel EuroAdria
This is a beautiful clean hostel with a great location! The hostel is not so far from the Old Town – a 20-minute walk, and it’s right next to the main bus station and a grocery store. If you need a really cheap but also clean and safe place this will be a great value for money! As it’s pretty small (only 3 rooms), you won’t be in a loud, crowded hostel but in a quiet, cozy one with a great host. This is one of the cheapest accommodations on this list!

Apartments Dubrovnik Palm Tree Paradise
This studio apartment is for you if you want to enjoy your vacation relaxing with a glass of wine and a wonderful view! The lovely terrace looking out at the sea will make your stay in Dubrovnik unforgettable. The apartment is around 2.5 kilometers from the Old Town and it’s quite modest but you’ll have everything you need.
PRICING: from 150 euros per night
Guesthouse “The heart of Dubrovnik” – 3 stars
Only 600 meters away from the Old Town, this is the cheapest place you can find this close to the historical core of this wonderful city. The accommodation has everything you could possibly need – top restaurants in proximity, and a grocery store only seconds away. The rating and reviews on Booking are amazing, pointing out the thick windows which will kill all the noise coming from the drunk tourists outside!
PRICING: from 200 euros per night
The View – 3 stars
Another wonderful apartment with an incredible view of Dubrovnik! The balcony itself is worth the money, but this apartment has many more advantages. it’s got a 9/10 rating on Booking for a reason. In The View, you have a free parking space if you have a car. That’s quite incredible for Dubrovnik because the parking here is extremely expensive. The View is also only 550 meters from the beach Šulić!
PRICING: from 180 euros per night
Dubrovnik Rooms 2 – 3 stars
These rooms are extremely modest, the interior is nowhere close to the rest of the hotels on this list, but this is also the cheapest option you can find. Believe it tor not, you can stay in Dubrovnik for only 110 euros! This accommodation is around 2.5 kilometers from the Old Town.
